What's Happening Now
A decade in the business of changing brains! IAFNR is pleased to have completed our 10th annual Functional Neurosciences conference in Henderson, NV between October 17-20, 2019. With the help of 25 vendors, we were able to provide our attendees with cutting edge technology and educational programs that are unparalleled in the industry.
We had 27 speakers ranging from immunologists, naturopaths, chiropractors, optometrists, osteopaths, nurse practitioners, and functional neurology practitioners. We had 36 hours of educational programs that included topics such as TBI diagnoses and treatment, gait assessment, dysmetria of movement and thought, photobiomodulation, CBD and the brain, misophonia evaluation and treatment, autoimmunity and the most well-attended class: Sex and Neurology.
This is our second year of offering our Track system. We have found that our interdisciplinary members need a common language from which to understand the basics of neurosciences and be able to create applications that change developing brains. We serve specialists that include all the allied health professionals including, but not limited to massage therapy, behavioral analysts, psychologists, athletic trainers, nurses, acupuncturists, speech therapists, movement specialists, and occupational therapists. These tracks cover basic anatomy, physiology, cranial nerves, EMG/NCV, autonomics, cognition, eye movements, balance, medications for the non-prescriber, and business management for the functional neurology practitioner.
We are a community of interdisciplinary professionals dedicated to the evaluation and management of functional neurological disorders. Our community embraces anyone willing to partner with us in growing relationships, science, and technology into 2020 and beyond.
We will be in San Antonio, Texas for our 11th annual IAFNR Conference from October 8-11, 2020. We’re very excited to have three educational tracks this next year, which should prove to be our best ever. Please click here to register!
